Mike Pelfrey yielded 6 earned runs in 4 2/3 innings and the Mets managed just 6 hits as the Florida Marlins beat the Mets 8-2 Sunday.

Pelfrey’s no-hitter was broken up in the second inning when Mike Jacobs doubled to left-center field, bumping the NoNoHitters.com count up to 7,347 games without a hitless game.

The Pittsburgh Pirates come to Shea on Monday afternoon with Pedro Martinez scheduled to get the start.
