7,605: Utley leads Phils to 4-1 win over Mets

Can’t blame Redding

Tim Redding allowed just one hit during a five-inning fill-in start, but the Phillies scored on the Mets` bullpen Saturday night during a 4-1 loss at Citi Field.

Redding lost his no-hitter in the third inning on a Chase Utley single, making it 7,605 New York Mets games without a no-no.

Utley would later hit a two-run homer during a three-run sixth inning.

Omir Santos had New York`s lone RBI, singling home Jef f Francoeur in the second.
