Mets minor-leaguer Moore throws Cyclones’ 1st no-hitter

Brooklyn CyclonesWith our rotation depleted, perhaps it’s time to call up Brandon Moore from the Mets’ A affiliate.

The 23-year-old Brooklyn Cyclones righthander threw a seven-inning no-hitter against the Aberdeen IronBirds (Orioles affiliate) Sunday during the first game of a doubleheader opener at Ripken Stadium. (See the story on MLB.com)

Moore yielded three bases-on-balls and hit one batter during the 5-0 victory.

So, Brandon, welcome to our Mets minor league/spring training no-hitters page.
