A Felipe Lopez leadoff double tonight off Oliver Perez makes it 7,654 New York #Mets games without a #nohitter
We've now gone 8 years, 7 months, and 24 days without a no-hitter since Johan Santana's gem! We had gone 8,019 games - or more than 50 years - without a no-no.

Just discovered your site. Love it. Didn’t see any reference to Jim Bibby. Signed by the Met’s in 1965. Some say that he threw as hard as Nolan Ryan. Traded to the Texas Rangers, where he subsequently threw the first no-hitter in Rangers history. Look it up on Wikipedia.
Thanks for that. We didn’t add him to the “No-hitters after they pitched for the Mets” page because we were limiting it to those who had appeared in a regular season or post-season game with the Mets.
