7,690: Dickey gives Phillies a knuckle sandwich, Mets win 8-0

Jason Bay and Jeff Francoeur each had two RBIs and knuckleballer R.A. Dickey dominated the Philadelphia Phillies for six solid innings to lead the New York Mets to an 8-0 win at Citi Field.

Dickey held the Phillies scoreless on seven hits and three walks while striking out seven. He lost his no-hitter in the second inning on a Ryan Howard single for the 7,690th New York Mets game with no no-no.

Jose Reyes had a 3-for-5 night with an RBI triple.

Raul Valdes threw three scoreless innings in relief and contributed with his bat with an eighth inning RBI double.
