7,710: Mets complete road sweep of Cleveland

Likin’ the road

Knuckleballer R.A. Dickey improved to 5-0 and Jose Reyes and Ike Davis provided the offensive spark as New York completed a three-game road sweep of the Cleveland Indians with a 6-4 win.

Reyes went 3-for-5 with an RBI and Davis was 2-for-5 with 2 RBIs, helping the Mets earn their seventh straight victory.

Dickey gave up three runs (two earned) on seven hits and two walks while striking out seven.

For the third straight night, Travis Hafner was the no-hitter killer with a single in the second inning, advancing our NoNoHitters.com count to 7,710 New York Mets games with no no-no.
