Hisanori Takahashi threw six innings of four-hit no-run ball Friday night as the New York Yankees
beat the New York Yankees 4-0 at Yankee Stadium.

The Mets jumped on the scoreboard in the first inning when Ike Davis single home David Wright, who had reached base on a two-out double.

The score remained 1-0 until the eighth inning, when Angel Pagan knocked in two with a double to left. The Mets added an insurance run in the ninth on a Jose Reyes RBI single.
