Verlander loses no-hitter in 8th, misses exclusive 3 no-no club

The Detroit Tigers’ Justin Verlander lost his #nohitter in the eighth inning Sunday, failing to join the exclusive three no-no club.

The only pitchers to throw at least 3 career no-nos are Nolan Ryan (7), Sandy Koufax (4), Larry Corcoran (3), Cy Young (3) and Bob Feller (3).
