Friday night’s game at Shea between the New York Mets and the Atlanta Braves has been postponed due to rain.
The game will be made up on Saturday as part of a good old-fashioned twi-night doubleheader beginning at 3:55 p.m. That’s good news for those holding tickets for Saturday as you’re getting a two-for-one deal, but bad news for those holding tickets for Friday night as the club said in an e-mail that they won’t get you in.
Got another e-mail from the Mets today encouraging Mets fans to come down to Washington, D.C. to see the Mets play the Nats at Nationals Park next week. It was likely geared toward New Yorkers, not those following the team from 1,600 miles away. But oddly enough I’m in D.C. and am already planning on hitting Monday night’s game, so invitation accepted!
