What comes around goes around.
The Atlanta Braves got their own eight-run inning Wednesday night during a 15-2 rout of the Mets at Citi Field.
Mets starter Bobby Parnell retired the Braves 1-2-3 in the first, but Brian McCann’s leadoff single in the second began a rally that would leave the Braves up 8-0 by the time it ended. McCann’s hit also advanced our NoNoHitters.com count to 7,602 New York Mets games without a no-hitter.
Parnell left after giving up nine runs on nine hits over three innings, and the bullpen just added to the grief.
Not much more to say about this one.
