The Mets rallied for five runs in the fifth inning Tuesday to get a win for Johan Santana and beat the Cleveland Indians 7-6.
Santana lost his no-hitter in the second when Travis Hafner led off the inning with a homer, advancing our NoNoHitters.com count to 7,708 New York Mets games with no no-no. Santana yielded four runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out just one.
David Wright went 3-for-5 with 3 RBIs, and Ike Davis went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer.
