Boy, talk about a waste.
Chris Young threw seven innings of one-hit ball, and the bullpen just gave it to the Nats.
D.J. Carrasco lost the Mets’ 3-1 lead in the eighth, and Blaine Boyer broke down in the 11th to seal the deal after pitching a 1-2-3 inning in the 10th.
Ugh.
The only hit Young gave up was a Michael Morse 2nd-inning single, which moved our count up to 7,815 Mets games with no no-no.
